Afrodet Zuri

Afrodet Zuri is an independent art curator, art dealer and writer. Moving to New York over a decade ago to pursue her master’s degree in Contemporary Art at the Institute for Art at Sotheby’s, she works with her clients on all aspects of their collecting activities, such as identifying and accessing work, negotiating acquisitions, curating installations, and advising on potential deaccessions and donations. Her main focus is contemporary art, and she works with many of the her clients who are passionate about emerging artists and markets. Her curatorial projects include a year-round arts programming for the Four Seasons Beverly Hills, the first-ever NFT exhibition at the World Trade Center and an exhibition for The Gateway activation hosted by nft now & Christies during Miami Basel. She is a member of Artemis Council, a dedicated group of patrons who directly support exhibitions, new commissions and residencies by women artists at the New Museum. She is the founding Co-chair of Storm King Art Center’s Storm King Circle young patrons group and a founding Patron of Fotografiska Museum. She serves as a key advisor to the Web3 media platform, nft now and as Curator at Large for the creator platform, Blockparty.
