Lloyd Lee
Lloyd is a serial entrepreneur and the Founder & CEO of Hyperithm, a prominent digital asset financial services provider headquartered in Tokyo and Seoul, with strong backing from renowned investors, including Hashed, Coinbase, Samsung, Kakao, and Wemade. Hyperithm's asset management arm specializes in algorithmic/HFT-based, market-neutral strategies for institutions and HNWIs. As an advocate of the Web3 ecosystem, the firm also supports emerging teams through venture investment. Lloyd founded his first startup at the age of 17 and has since launched several projects, including Bamboo Forest, one of Korea's largest online communities for college students. In 2017, he relocated to Japan to join a family office and initially discovered crypto as a more cost-effective method to remit his salary back to Korea. The following year, he co-founded Hyperithm with a former Morgan Stanley investment banker to pursue the vision of becoming a "Digital Asset Gateway for Institutions. "Lloyd graduated from Seoul National University and was recognized on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2022. He also has a passion for scuba diving.
