Steve Lee
Steve Lee is a co-founder and managing partner at Neoclassic Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm specializing in investments in web3, digital assets, and blockchain technologies across consumer, financial services, and infrastructure sectors.
Previously, Steve worked at BlockTower Capital until late 2022, a global digital asset investment firm based in New York and Miami. BlockTower Capital was founded by a former Goldman Sachs VP and a UChicago endowment portfolio manager and was backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Union Square Ventures. During his tenure at BlockTower, Steve served as an investment director and Head of Asia, contributing to the firm's global investments in liquid cryptocurrencies and early-stage companies.
Before joining BlockTower in 2018, Steve spent 8 years at Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and Singapore within the firm's asset management division (GSAM), where he served as a portfolio manager, trader, and analyst for Asian institutional clients.
