Sam Kim
Sam Kim is a social venture capitalist from South Korea with a passion for technological innovations. He is the partner of Sukuma Ventures based in Singapore which focusses on bridging the digital divide in Sub-Sahara Africa and the founder of GoChapaa, a blockchain start-up in Kenya which facilitates young Kenyans with crypto payments, banking, micro-loans, remittance, and provides education on crypto related materials. He brings 20+ years of diverse experience from Investment Banking to Social Impact. He has lectured in universities and was invited to speak in WEF on innovations that impacts UN’s SDGs and recently was invited to speak at the Consensus 2023 in Austin, Texas. LOOONG time ago, he used to play guitar in an indie rock band and has recorded two albums. He holds a M.A. degree from New York University and B.A. at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea.
