Songyi Lee
Songyi has a decade-long journey in the crypto space, building companies, communities, and movements. She co-founded 37coins, a decentralized SMS network to bring Bitcoin access to the world's unbanked, and served as CSO at a DID company in Korea. She has played instrumental roles in the evolution of the crypto ecosystem, bridging Web2 institutions with Web3 tools and philosophies. With a deep-rooted understanding of both Asian and global markets, she spearheads initiatives such as ABCD (Asia Based Community DAOs) and xBound, to serve as coordination points for Asian market and builders. Today, Songyi's focus is on matching the pace of technological advances with the "human-ware" necessary to be successful in coordination. She runs Gatherings, an experience design studio for distributed teams and communities.
